This book offers a concise overview of the development of Malaysian Chinese
education from its 19th-century origins to the era of digitalization and artificial
intelligence. It examines how migration history, cultural identity, and political negotiation
shaped its distinctive and resilient system. Topics include the founding of Chinese
schools during the colonial era, post-war policy changes, the role of Chinese education in
a multicultural society, and the integration of AI, big data, and educational equity issues.

作者信息
Xiuwen Zhai is a Master’s supervisor and currently serves at the School of Foreign
Languages, Guangxi University. Her research focuses on international Chinese education,
AI-driven language education, and Malaysian regional and country studies. She has
published over ten scholarly articles in both domestic and international academic journals.
She also serves as a peer reviewer for more than twenty SSCI/SCI-indexed journals and
sits on the editorial boards of several SCOPUS-indexed and international journals.
